ADHD Burnout Journal

Running on empty for long enough that the things which used to work have stopped working.
Burnout with ADHD doesn't always look like the version in the articles. It can look like your strategies quietly failing — the lists you stop reading, the timers you ignore, the systems that held for years and suddenly don't. It's easy to read that as personal failure and try harder, which is exactly the thing that deepens it. This 10-page printable journal moves slowly on purpose. It isn't here to get you back to full capacity. It's here to help you see where you actually are, and what genuinely helps.

Who this is for
This journal is for anyone living with adult ADHD who wants somewhere to put the detail down while it is still fresh. Running on empty for long enough that the things which used to work have stopped working. If that is familiar, this is the tool for writing it down as it happens.
What’s included
- Welcome & how to use this journal
- How I work best — and how far from it I currently am
- What burnout looks like on me, specifically — a 14-point checklist plus space for your own
- Week by week, Weeks 1–2 — deliberately small, so it still gets filled in on the hard weeks
- Week by week, Weeks 3–4
- What I am putting down, and for how long — with an end date, so it's a pause and not a loss
- What restores me — tested, not assumed, including the things that were supposed to help and didn't
- Coming back slowly, on my own terms
- What surprised me — the thing you didn't expect to notice
Inside the planner

How it works in practice
The weekly pages ask very little on purpose — one or two words per box is a complete answer, so it still gets used on the weeks that are hardest. There's no plan to follow and no timeline to fall behind. If a page feels like too much on a given day, it will still be there later.
